Based on my educational background and experiences, my career objectives appear to be focused on utilizing my knowledge and skills in Chemistry toward a challenging and dynamic role in the industry. As an M.Phil./MS in Chemistry graduate, I am interested in a position that allows me to utilize my expertise in laboratory work, analytical techniques, Quality control operations, material characterization, analysis, scientific research, and microscopy to contribute to the development of new products, processes, or technologies.
My diverse range of courses during my MPhil/MS Programme, including statistics, computational chemistry, physics, material science, organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, microbiology, biological fluids, and biochemistry, demonstrates my versatility and broad knowledge in the field of Chemistry. I take Additionally, my publication of four research articles in well-known scientific journals demonstrates my commitment to research and my ability to contribute to the scientific community.
In my previous laboratory work, I have conducted crude oil characterization using optical spectroscopic techniques showcasing my hands-on experience in laboratory work. My proficiency in a range of analytical techniques, including NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, UV/vis spectroscopy, and infrared spectroscopy, further demonstrates my analytical and technical skills. Raman and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopic (SERS) techniques along with chemometric techniques such as those Experienced in Principal components analysis (PCA), Principal components linear discriminant analysis (PC-LDA), Partial least square regression analysis (PLSR) and Partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA).
Furthermore, my research experience in analyzing the antibacterial activities of organometallic compounds can be applied in the oil and gas industry to develop novel corrosion inhibitors, which are crucial in maintaining the integrity of pipelines and equipment. along with my knowledge of chromatographic techniques including GC, HPLC, and TLC, further showcase my analytical and technical skills.
Furthermore, my experience in microscopy, including SEM and TEM, demonstrates my ability to work with advanced scientific equipment and my attention to detail. In summary, my career objectives involve utilizing my knowledge and skills in Chemistry in a challenging and dynamic role in the industry.
