Experience:
Acts as the logistics coordinating link between logistics clients such as military, police
and other substantive components and the Support Services Section within the Supply
Chain Management Pillar of Mission Support Division.
o Acts as a focal point in the preparation of the acquisition plans based on budget and
quarterly reporting as part of the mission logistics planning process.
o Aware of all logistics needs in each location in the mission and monitor and track all
aspects of the Mission's supply chain to ensure that a continuous supply of goods and
services are available to meet operational requirements.
o Participates and ensures the development of Logistics emergency, contingency plans and
identify more than one way to overcome obstacles when delivering goods.
o Assists in the preparation of technical specifications for goods and services requested by
customers, the raising of requisitions in Umoja, and the maintenance of computerized
procurement records.
o In coordination with Central Warehousing maintains control and accountability of all
stored assets and participates in periodic physical inventories of expendable and non-
expendable assets, and report results.
o Oversees the accurate and timely maintenance of computerized inventory records.
o Prepare reports from Umoja which will allow for timely decision-making to minimize
supply chain gaps and ensures recording and rationalization of stock held and their levels.
o Assists in arrange writing off items in a proper presentation to help inspect assets prior to destruction or sale

Certificate in forklift operator
Skills:
Supply chain,logistics and transport management.

Certified in first aid and security in the field.
