Skills:
More than 15 years’ experience in construction supervision of roads and infrastructure works. I worked for consultants and contractors on challenging projects in Gulf region.
I have extensive experience of implementing and monitoring quality assurance activities including laboratory testing of all construction materials (sub base, road base, asphalt, aggregates and concrete). This includes the setting up of field laboratories, testing of materials and quality control of construction works including the preparation of high quality asphalt and concrete mixes and selection of borrow areas and quarries.
Additionally I am fully conversant with ASTM, AASHTO and British Standards and implementation of laboratory testing, preparation and checking of mix design of all grades of concretes, including plant calibration, and monitoring all the activities of QA/QC. I have extensive experience in material quality control, managing staff and preparation of method statement and preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
