I am an energetic, ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake, or situation that I am presented with. As a graduate with 4 years’ of teaching experience and as a school secretary with 5 years’ experience at a prestigious international school; Elizabeth Moir School in Sri Lanka founded by an MBE. Moreover, since I have worked under a MBE, I am very well experienced on the work – background of working with expats. Additionally, since I was working in the administration sector as the executive secretary of the Senior Head of School for 5 years, I have handled new school admissions, held onto sensitive student information such as grades and medical conditions. Moreover, I maintained the appointments of the Senior Head of School using calendar management and as well the templates of the reports that are being used by the teachers every term using the mail merge. Additionally, my computer literacy on MS office is high while I maintained excellent rapports between the teachers and parents despite the different nationalities the parents and teachers belong to as well as I worked hand – in hand with the receptionist in handling the inbound and outbound calls. Moreover, in terms of teaching history, I taught the Roman Empire, Crusades and local history for the students and I maintained excellent rapports with the students despite their teenage years, helping them to overcome some struggles that they were facing. Furthermore, working with students have always been my pleasure. Moreover, the 9 years of working background (working under a British MBE) definitely makes my interest in working for the school.
