 Provide support to the operations for equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine equipment surveillance and start-up activities.  Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical sections and establish a seamless integration between operation and maintenance teams to ensure compliance to the planned maintenance activities.  Provide technical support in the field for the execution of critical maintenance activities of the equipment’s to ensure that the problems are resolved with minimum down time  Assess the workload, backlog and the work plan and coordinate with relevant sections.  Monitor and control required material, spares, consumables and tools in high quality and quantities to ensure continuous availability  Conduct and implement root cause analysis of equipment failures and non-scheduled shutdowns and recommend problem resolutions to increase the reliability and availability of equipment  Provide technical support for development, implementation and commissioning of new projects  Participate in defining the technical requirements, technical bid evaluation and inspection of materials on receipt to ensure specifications and required quality.  Monitor the performance of Contractors for the assigned works to ensure quality and standards. Responsible for the overall management, co-ordination between all concerned parties & departments (client, Operation, Maintenance, Engineering, PMC, EPC Contractors, Subcontractors and Vendors) and follow up of day-to-day development of project related activities  Review interface information’s and documents received fromPMC, Contractors, and Operation Department and ensure that all required information is provided.  Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.  Participate in FAT/SAT, Pre-commissioning& Commissioning activities.  Participate in Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) Walk Downs as a discipline member representing Project Department.  Responsible for resolving any contradiction or difference in the nature or content of comments received from the PMC and different KNPC departments  Installation and erection of 132Kv 33KV,22kv 11KV Switchgear, Control & Relay Panel, Bus bar Protection Panels and 11/0.415kv LVAC System, HVAC System, capacitor bank and  Reactors and 110VDC, 48VDC System, and charging panel.  Installation of Power Transformers of capacity 33/11KV, 20 MVA.  Prepare the Cross Ferruling for Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation Cables as per the Philosophy approved in the project and testing of cables for Insulation Resistance (IR & Continuity)  Installation of cable trays, trucking, GI Rigid conduit &fittings and Supports For the power/Control cable.  Coordination for MEP works of sub-Station, shelters, and building such as HVAC system and Lighting and power system  Review the necessary documents in line with the drawings. Such as the DB Schedules, Load Summary, Cable Sizing Calculations, Etc  Check the execution of works on site as per the Approved Drawings, documents & Project Specifications.  Installation of light fixtures, Distribution & Control Panels, Fire Alarm Systems, Public Address Systems, Door Access Systems, CCTVs, Home Automation Systems  Differential Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, Humidity Transmitters, Flow Switches, Actuators for Valves and Motorized Dampers, etc.  Installation and support for Testing and Commissioning of the Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System for the pipeline, Tanks Protection with a CP Engineer of Structure, and Final ON/OFF Potential Measurement after Polarization of the Structure.  Preparation of Technical Submittals to the Client for the Approval of Materials from the VEC List.  Ensure the Material Delivered to the Site is Approved and in line with the Project requirements  Knowledge related to Safety Documents such as Permit to work, Job Safety Analysis, etc. And other documentation required for different activities.  Prepare and maintain all QA/QC records (Inspection requests, materials acceptance & Installation, and QA/QC Auditing  Inspection check sheets, Test records NCRs, etc.) At site as per requirements.  Responsible for everyday planning and handling/Organizing Construction, Inspection, and Testing activities at the site  Inspect the work done in line with the project requirements and offer the Inspection to Client for the Works  Co-ordinate with all related personnel, Vendors, and Client to solve any Technical Issues Which rises at the site  Arranging the manpower and the material at the site in line with the project schedule to ensure  The smooth flow of work without any obstruction, prepare the work Plan and follow it up as per the planned schedule  Arranging Permits for Site Works and Ensuring the limitation of work as mentioned in the permit.  Permit signing and closure of permit as recommended by the safety personnel and the Client  Ensure all the HSE Standards and Procedures of the Client are being followed
