As an internship mechanical technician.
Duties performed.
-Inspection of plant: check for excessive noice, vibration, temperature of bearings and stuffing box.
-Checked for all instrument guages to show the correct reading.
-Lubrication: Checked oil level, top up and grease lubrication points.
-Overhauling of pumps: Dismantling and assembly per instruction.
-Installation and repair of centrifugal pumps, valves and compressors.
-Cleaning the work environment.
Education:
Bachelor degree in petroleum Engineering.
Skills:
-Strong understanding of reservoir engineering practices such as reseroir management, production forcasting and decline curve analysis.
-Maintain on-side drilling and pumping equipment.
-Rock and fluid properties, understanding of well completions and workovers design, production facility and oil processing facilities.
-Sound knowledge of log interpretations, well drilling operatons.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, manage well intergrity issues.
-Skilled in analyzing production data, numirical reservoir modeling, and well testing analysis.
