Skills:
Systems installation, fault reporting and system monitoring to ensure availability
throughout the operating cycle.
Carry out troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of installation to ensure the system is
operational at all times.
Liaise with the Project Engineers on all matters relating to data capture, archiving and
dissemination.
Ensure the maintenance, patching and monitoring of the production hardware and
software infrastructure.
Ensure uninterruptable data capture, storage, archiving and dissemination.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
Prepare and maintain schedule of preventive maintenance for all IT infrastructure.
Manage the application deployments and patches from development.
Assist in User acceptance testing (UAT) of patches, enhancements or/and new systems,
adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
Ensuring that the systems and network infrastructure is up and running.
Supervision and training systems users.
Ensure that process for the creation, modification, access privileges and deletion of user
accounts are implemented. Conduct reviews to assess that the access privileges are on
the basis of need to know.
Undertake periodic system backups as required and carry out system recovery.
Ensure timely and accurately report extraction.
