I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the top-ranked university in Pakistan, the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), where I achieved a CGPA of 3.79/4.00. I also have 5+ years’ experience as a Static Equipment Engineer at both Fatima Fertilizer and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, where I have developed my skills in Project management, budget management, spare management, turnaround planning and equipment maintenance.
During my time at FFBL, I played a key role in several significant projects that contributed to the company's success. Notably, I was involved in the Ammonia Storage Tank Erection and Commissioning Project, where I oversaw technical correspondence with both German EP and local construction contractors, initiated purchase requisitions, and planned and executed construction of the tank, cold insulation, and piping tie-ins. Additionally, I played a crucial role in the commissioning of the ammonia tank. My expertise and attention to detail were instrumental in the successful completion of these projects.
Currently, I am employed at Fatima Fertilizer, where I have been entrusted with various responsibilities related to CAPEX, Store and Spare Annual Budget working, and managing the field Maintenance Unit of the Ammonia and Nitric Acid Plant. During my time at the company, I have undertaken several significant projects, one of which was the procurement of the Ammonia Plant Secondary Reformer Effluent Heat Recovery Steam Generator. I played a pivotal role in this project, which involved technical correspondence with IMB for finalizing the design and reviewing technical documents, including drawings, layouts, inspection test plan QIP/QCP, WPS, PQRs, and more. Additionally, I had the opportunity to visit the IMB workshop in Italy to inspect the heat exchanger. My experiences have equipped me with excellent technical correspondence, technical document reviewing, and project management skills.
