As a genaral practitioner (GP) working in tertiary care hospital, my role would involve providing primary care services to patients who are admitted to the hospital.
My initial responsibilities would include ,
1.Providing initial consultations & assesments of patients to identify their medical needs &conditions .
2.Ordering & interpreting diagnostic tests & investigations to come at diagnoses.
3.Developing & implementing treatments plans for patients ,including medications & other therapies.
4.Coordinating with other health care professionals ,including Consultant Specialist ,Cor MOs,Nurses & other minor health staff to provide comprehensive care fot the patients.
5.Monitoring patients" progress & adjusting treatment planning accordingly.
6.Providing Counselling & give advises to patients regarding life style changes,healthy habits ,about hygiene & disease prevention.
7. Maintaining accurate medical records on time & ensuring confidentially of patient information.
In addition to providing primary care services ,as a GP in tertiary care hospital, I may also be expected to collaborate with other health care professionals in addressing complex medical cases & implementing evidence -based best practices. We may also participate in research projects & contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiative to enhance patients outcome.
GP also advise to patients on healthy life style changes such as Diet,exercise and stress management to promote overall wellness.
We always used to promoting keep patients physically ,emotionaly mentally well-being patients according to their wishes.
