Experience:
With my significant clinical background, commitment to patient care, and great enthusiasm for enhancing people's health and well-being, I firmly believe I would be a wonderful addition to your team. I have completed six months of rotatory internship and continued freelancing for 8 months with a senior physiotherapist focusing on home-based treatments and tele-rehabilitations.
I have had the honour of working with a variety of patient demographics in various therapeutic settings as a qualified and experienced physiotherapist. I have a post-graduate degree in specialist physiotherapy practice from Sheffield Hallam University and 14 months of work experience independently diagnosing and treating neurological illnesses, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal ailments.
In order to maximise patient recovery, I developed excellent skills in performing in-depth evaluations, creating individualised treatment plans, and applying evidence-based practices. I am skilled in functional rehabilitation, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy techniques, and manual therapy. Additionally, I keep up with industry advancements by participating in workshops, conferences, and continuing education programmes.
In addition to my technical abilities, I place a high value on encouraging a compassionate and sympathetic attitude towards my patients. In order to encourage people to take an active role in their own recovery, I work to develop therapeutic partnerships based on trust. I have had great success working with multidisciplinary teams, which include medical professionals, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide all-encompassing treatment and achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
I have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and it was exhilarating. Collaborating with professionals from different professions such as doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare providers enabled me to address various aspects of a patient's condition and provide a more well-rounded treatment plan and comprehensive care. I was keen on effective communication, mutual respect, and a shared focus within the interdisciplinary professions for the well-being of the patient which helped me to provide the best care. While planning any treatment or rehabilitation, I made sure I discussed it with other professionals and focused on patient-centred goals for facilitating adherence to the treatment.
Additionally, I have the ability to educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive actions due to my effective communication and interpersonal skills. I have the ability to give patients simple instructions, walk them through exercises, and provide ongoing support as they work towards their objectives. I, also have excellent IT skills and data management skills.
I try to keep up with current practices and refer to recent evidence before prescribing any exercises. I have also completed various courses to keep myself updated and to practise the best way possible.
