Most of my work experience has been in the educational field and I have 15 years experience. I worked in Kuwait as an English kindergarten teacher. And in China I was an ESL teacher for grades 1-8. I do have a preference for teaching older children.
At Varsity College, I was a teacher for undergraduate students and used educational tools to make lessons fun and interactive. I also designed course material for online learning on Blackboard.
At Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership (the training department for the Department of Education), the main focus was showing teachers how to use technology in education to improve pass rates. Later, I was promoted to Project Coordinator with a team of 68 trainers. A positive outcome of this project was that pass rates improved and Gauteng Province attained the highest pass rates within South Africa.
Education wise, I have completed the following:
TEFL Certificate 120 hours plus 20 Classroom hours
BA Psychology (Child Development) NDP
Bachelor of Commerce ( Industrial Psychology )
Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Strategic Management
