As an accomplished marketer, my focus is on helping companies identify and address their audience's needs by developing effective marketing strategies. In order to expand my knowledge and skills, I have pursued an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College London. My goal is to leverage my education to assist companies in opening new markets, attracting new customers, and fostering growth. Diversity and inclusion are important values to me, and as an American-Pakistani residing in the UK, I actively promote and advocate for it.
During my 2-week work placement at Atos, I gained valuable experience in observing the transition to the new brand, Eviden, and its marketing strategy. This opportunity allowed me to witness the crucial role marketing played in promoting Eviden as a distinct brand. Additionally, I witnessed comprehensive training on Adobe Marketo, a leading marketing automation software, deepening my understanding of its features. By actively observing the company's utilization of such tools, I gained practical insights into their impact on marketing strategies. Furthermore, I collaborated with the marketing team, attending client meetings and witnessing their customer-centric approach to understanding and catering to client needs. This opportunity has greatly contributed to my professional growth by exposing me to the UK market and expanding my marketing skills. I gained valuable insights into domains such as account-based marketing, employer branding, CXM, and more, which have enhanced my expertise in the field
I also completed an 8-month internship at Dubizzle Labs, a software house in Pakistan, where I was able to combine my creative skills with my love for the industry. During my time at Dubizzle Labs, I worked closely with the heads of departments and developers to enhance my critical analytical skills while creating the company's official webpage. I also had the opportunity to train a marketing analyst, which improved my leadership abilities, and interacted with a diverse group of people as a member of the HR department, allowing me to polish my communication skills. During my tenure at Dubizzle Labs, I was commended for my strong work ethic, willingness to learn, adaptability, and positive attitude.
I have gained practical knowledge and experience in marketing by completing various projects during my academic tenure at Imperial. These experiences have allowed me to apply learned concepts and develop skills to confidently tackle real-life scenarios.
