Experience:
Fully qualified Electrician from the UK with 10 years experience across industrial, commercial and domestic sites. Variety of sites include work on Petrochemical / Oil Refinery sites, Heathrow Airport, F13 Data Centre in Frankfurt and, multiple office building fit outs.
I also co-owned a domestic electrical installations company while I studied at Univeristy.
Education:
I completed a SVQ Electrical Installations apprenticeship with Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick while attending New College Lanarkshire.
I received an A award in HNC Built Environment at City of Glasgow College.
I received an A award in HND Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University,
Skills:
Electrical: Glanding & terminating, testing of electrical circuits, fault finding, variety of lighting and power systems (new installs and maintenance), all forms of electrical containment, temporary power and lighting, distribution boards, rewires and more.
Other: Planning work, communication with clients and other trades, problem solving, effective working autonomously or as part of a team, knowledge and adherence of health and safety protocols.
Additionally:
My time studying the Built Environment and Quantity Surveying has given me a strong foundation of knowledge on the wider construction industry. Coursework included experience with AutoCAD 2D and modules on topics such as building services, construction contracts, construction technology, measurement, cost studies and processes management.
