Obtain blood samples for medical testing and transfusion through venipuncture or capillary puncture. • Follow infection-control and safety procedures in carrying out daily phlebotomy functions. • Organize, store, and examine 60+ patient samples daily in a safe and efficient manner. • Build trust and minimize patient discomfort during phlebotomy procedures while efficiently collecting blood specimens. • Work collaboratively with patients, healthcare providers and patient support departments to ensure a high quality of service. • Authorized to perform the below listed collection procedures : BT/CT, Mantoux, collection of swab, hair clipping, skin scrapping, nail clipping and slit skin smear AFB. • Ensure adequate inventory of reagents and consumables. • To impart trainings to the new employees.
