Indian Restaurant Manager in Nairobi

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Restaurant Manager to join our team in Nairobi. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and service, and maintaining a positive customer experience. You must have at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry and be able to effectively communicate in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food standards
- Create schedules and assign duties to employees based on business needs
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control measures
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the restaurant
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain current ones
- Collaborate with chefs to create new menu items or specials as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role within the restaurant industry
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost control measures, and marketing strategies
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with temporary accommodations for out-of-town candidates. Visa sponsorship may also be provided for qualified candidates.
