Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Akron. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure all instruments are functioning properly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical circuits and systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month. Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on instruments
- Follow safety protocols while working with electrical equipment
- Document all work performed in maintenance logs
- Collaborate with other technicians or engineers on larger projects
- Keep inventory of supplies and equipment needed for repairs
- Provide training or guidance to junior technicians when needed
