Experienced Glazier in Braga, Portugal



As an experienced Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, installing, and replacing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, and skylights. Your main goal will be to ensure that all glass installations are completed safely and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions using specialized tools
- Install glass in frames using putty or other adhesives
- Secure glass in place with glazing points or moldings
- Replace broken or damaged glass in existing structures
- Install weather-stripping and other sealants around windows and doors
- Read blueprints or specifications to determine the type and amount of materials needed for each job
- Use power tools to shape edges or remove excess materials from glass pieces
- Work safely with ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment to reach high areas for installation

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier (minimum 2 years)
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
- Familiarity with construction materials and techniques used for window/door installation
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and take accurate measurements

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month. You will be expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Overtime may be required depending on project deadlines. This job does not come with accommodation.
