We are a multinational retail company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Sofia. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability of our products in the Bulgarian market. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify potential product opportunities
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate pricing
- Develop effective merchandising plans to maximize product visibility and sales
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns for new products or promotions
- Ensure compliance with company standards for product quality, packaging, and pricing
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in a retail environment
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (other languages are a plus)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data
- Experience managing inventory levels and negotiating with suppliers
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques is preferred
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
