Software Developer



We are a rapidly growing software company based in Akron, seeking a skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software applications and systems. You will work closely with our team to understand project requirements and create high-quality, efficient code to meet those requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, as well as experience with database management and software testing. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing software solutions that meet project requirements
- Writing efficient, maintainable code using programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Conducting thorough testing of software applications to identify and fix any bugs or issues
- Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and debug code
- Maintaining and updating existing software systems as needed
- Keeping up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in software development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in software development, preferably 3+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with database management (SQL)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
