Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Faro on a contract basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Android platform, as well as experience with biometric passport technology. In this role, you will work closely with our design and product teams to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. The salary for this position is 1500$ per month, and previous experience in a similar role is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient code while adhering to coding standards
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve performance and stability
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the mobile development industry

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Android Developer
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK and development tools
- Experience with biometric passport technology is preferred
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and networking protocols
- Experience working on a cross-functional team in an Agile environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
