Executive Chef (Al-Khor, Qatar)


We are in need of a highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at a prestigious resort in Al-Khor, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gourmet cuisine and experience working in high-end restaurants or hotels. The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating menus, managing the kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests. This is an urgent position that requires someone who can work well under pressure and has excellent time management skills. Accommodation will be provided for the selected candidate.

Salary: 1700$ per month

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and high-quality menus that cater to different dietary requirements and preferences
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Ensure all health and safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions that involve food service
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve menu offerings to meet guest expectations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, management, suppliers, and guests
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
and meeting deadlines
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Must be able to work long hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or related certification
- Experience working in the Middle East or with Middle Eastern cuisine
- Knowledge of Arabic language
