Maintenance Technician


Position Overview:
Our company is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mombasa. The ideal candidate will be an Indian national with proficiency in English and experience in maintenance work. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month, with accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or buildings
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment for all employees
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work performed and any parts or supplies used
- Communicate effectively with other team members and provide assistance as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance work, preferably in a similar industry
- Proficiency in English required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Familiarity with biometric passports preferred but not required
- Must be physically able to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
