Foundryman

A reputable foundry in Nairobi is seeking a skilled Foundryman to join our team. As a Foundryman, you will be responsible for creating molds, melting and pouring metal, and finishing castings to the desired specifications.

Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a foundry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in various casting techniques (sand casting, die casting, etc.)
- Skilled in operating foundry equipment and tools
- Physical stamina and ability to work in hot and dusty environments
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Pakistani nationality preferred, but not required
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Create molds for casting using various techniques
- Melt and pour metal into molds according to specifications
- Trim, grind, and finish castings as needed
- Operate foundry equipment such as furnaces, ladles, and sand mixers
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed for quality control
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
and disposing of waste properly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
and meet production goals

Salary: 1000$ per month
