A reputable foundry in Nairobi, Kenya is seeking a skilled Foundryman to join our team. As our ideal candidate, you will possess a strong background in foundry work and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment, melting and pouring metal, and performing quality control checks on finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain foundry equipment such as furnaces, molds, and sand mixers
- Prepare molds by filling them with sand or other materials
- Melt metal using various methods such as electric arc furnaces or crucibles
- Pour molten metal into molds to create desired products
- Remove finished products from molds and perform quality checks to ensure they meet specifications
- Repair damaged molds and maintain proper inventory of supplies
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in foundry work is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a foundry setting
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their melting points
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects frequently
- Familiarity with safety procedures for working with hot metals

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of $1800 per month along with benefits such as accommodation. This is a full-time position with regular working hours.
