Part Time Metal Worker in Dickirch, Kenya
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team on a part-time basis in Dickirch, Kenya. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures and objects using various tools and techniques. You will work with a variety of metals such as steel, aluminum, and copper to create custom pieces or repair existing structures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and has a passion for metalworking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or plans to determine the specifications of the project
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces using rulers, squares, or templates
- Cut or shape metal pieces using manual or automated tools such as saws, shears, or lasers
- Join metal pieces together by welding, soldering, bolting, or riveting
- Smooth and polish surfaces of finished products using hand tools or power tools
- Inspect completed projects to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Repair damaged metal structures by cutting out damaged sections and replacing them with new pieces
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and plans accurately
- Proficient in using manual and automated tools for cutting, shaping, and joining metals
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Skilled in various welding techniques (MIG,TIG, arc)
- Physical strength and stamina to work with heavy materials
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
Salary: $1100 per month (based on experience)
