Network and Systems Administrator

We are currently hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Shan, Kenya. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our network and systems infrastructure. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls and other security measures
- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
- Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail

This position is suitable for both Kenyan nationals and foreigners who have their own valid work visa. English fluency is required. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.
