Librarian


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Bansko, Bulgaria. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection, providing information and reference services to patrons, and promoting library resources and programs. This position is open to Filipinos with no English proficiency requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an organized and up-to-date library collection
- Assist patrons with reference inquiries and provide information literacy instruction
- Promote library services, resources, and programs through various channels
- Collaborate with other departments to support research and academic needs of the community
- Manage circulation services including borrowing, renewing, reserving, and returning materials
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and statistics
- Oversee the maintenance of the library facility and equipment
- Train and supervise library assistants

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of library management software systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
