Barista - English speaking, Temporary (Nepali candidates preferred)


We are a busy coffee shop in Nakuru and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Nepali Barista to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers in a timely and friendly manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee shop and ensuring that all equipment is in proper working order.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills in English, as well as the ability to speak Nepali fluently. Previous experience as a Barista is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a passion for coffee and great customer service. This position does not come with accommodation, so we prefer candidates who already have housing arrangements in Nakuru.

As a Barista, your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages according to customer orders
- Maintaining cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Restocking supplies as needed
- Processing payments from customers using cash or credit cards
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers with a friendly attitude and addressing any concerns or complaints

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Nepali (spoken)
- Previous experience as a Barista preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
