Electrician - Maintenance and Repair Technician

As an Electrician - Maintenance and Repair Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will work with a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems, as well as troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions in a timely manner
- Install new wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and other components as needed
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an electrician or in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as needed
- Effective communication skills in order to collaborate with team members

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or license in electrical trade from an accredited institution
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, meters, conduit benders, etc.
