Conservation Architect

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historic buildings and structures
- Develop conservation plans and proposals for restoration projects

- Create detailed drawings and specifications for restoration work
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring adherence to preservation standards
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise
- Provide guidance and support to junior architects on conservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a specialization in historic preservation or conservation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of building materials, techniques, and technologies used in historic structures
- Experience with CAD software and other design tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
