Information Security Analyst



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Almada. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's data and systems from potential cyber attacks and ensuring compliance with security standards. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$, including accommodation, free visa, and ticket.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious or unauthorized behavior
- Investigate any security incidents or breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to proactively prevent potential attacks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes
- Conduct employee training on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in information security analysis or a similar role
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, databases, and other IT systems
- Experience with risk assessment tools and techniques
- Strong understanding of industry standard security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations like GDPR or CCPA
