Typesetter

We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Odense. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text, images, and other elements to create visually appealing and readable documents. Your attention to detail and excellent typography skills will be crucial in producing high-quality print or digital materials.

Responsibilities:
- Set and arrange text, images, and other design elements using desktop publishing software
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, colors, and layout throughout the document
- Check for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to create visually appealing documents
- Make necessary adjustments based on feedback from clients or team members
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and software updates

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in desktop publishing software (e.g. InDesign)
- Excellent typography skills with an eye for detail
- Strong understanding of layout principles and design elements
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to take constructive criticism

This is a part-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. Freshers with relevant education or experience are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who are based in Odense or willing to relocate.
