Librarian - Contract Position in Mombasa, Kenya


We are hiring a Librarian for a contract position in Mombasa, Kenya. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about books and education. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of library systems and cataloging processes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the library collection by cataloging, shelving, and weeding materials
- Assist patrons with locating books and other resources
- Plan and implement events and programs to engage the community in literacy activities
- Train and supervise volunteers or interns working in the library
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies that can enhance library services
