Blast Furnace Operator



We are currently seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Zagreb, Croatia. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces, ensuring the safe and efficient production of iron and steel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the operation of blast furnaces to produce iron or steel
- Adjust temperature, pressure, and flow rate of fuels and air as needed
- Inspect equipment for defects and perform necessary maintenance
- Monitor levels of raw materials and add them as needed
- Remove slag from furnace using tools such as rakes or shovels
- Record data such as temperature readings, fuel consumption, and production rates

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a blast furnace environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in operating heavy machinery
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in a hot and physically demanding environment
- Valid work visa for Croatia (sponsorship available)
- Accommodation provided during contract period

Salary:
Starting salary of $1200 per month with potential for increases based on performance.
