Carpenter - Woodworking and Carpentry Specialist


We are in search of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Medina. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will also be required to read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and ensure the structural integrity of your projects.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan the layout of construction projects
- Measure and cut materials to the appropriate size using hand or power tools
- Build or repair structures such as walls, floors, doors, windows, roofs, and decks
- Install cabinets, shelves, molding, trimwork, and other wooden fixtures
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians or plumbers on larger projects
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different types of wood materials and their properties
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training certificate is a plus

Salary:
1300$ per month

Location:
Medina (no accommodation provided)
