Fitter for Industrial Machinery in Atlanta, USA


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team in Atlanta. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing industrial machinery. This includes reading and interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, and operating various hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to assemble machinery parts
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Use hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, and screwdrivers to fit components together
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and grinders to fabricate parts
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing machinery
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Fitter working with industrial machinery
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to read technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
