Electrician - Contract Position in Salalah, Oman


We are currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Salalah, Oman on a contract basis. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This position does not require previous experience or accommodation as it is a contract position. We welcome Nepali candidates who are fluent in English and have their own work visa.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
- Troubleshoot faulty electrical systems or equipment and replace or repair damaged components
- Comply with all safety standards and regulations when working with electricity and electrical systems
- Keep records of work performed including materials used for invoicing purposes
- Collaborate with contractors or other team members on larger projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an electrician is preferred but not required
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Knowledge of local building codes related to electrical systems
- Good communication skills in English (Nepali language skills are a plus)
- Must have own valid work visa for Oman
- Physically fit to perform duties such as lifting heavy equipment and working at heights if needed

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month.
