We are seeking a skilled and innovative Android Developer to join our team in Beer-Sheva, Israel. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications for our clients. You must have a strong understanding of the Android platform and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with our team. This is a contract job with accommodation provided. As an Android Developer, your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and developing mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs
- Maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate ideas and solutions

Preferred qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Knowledge of Firebase or other cloud-based backend services
- Familiarity with agile development methodology
