Entry-Level Turner



We are hiring an Entry-Level Turner to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to shape and form metal or other materials into various parts and components.

Responsibilities:
- Operate lathe machines to turn, bore, thread, and face materials according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot any machine malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of machine tools including lathes, drills, milling machines, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Valid work visa for non-Israeli nationals (visa sponsorship available)
