Land Surveyor
A land surveyor is responsible for measuring and mapping the earth's surface to determine property boundaries, location of structures, and other features. They use specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and aerial photography to collect data and create accurate maps and reports. As a land surveyor in Malindi, Egypt, you will work with a team to conduct surveys on various types of land including residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various equipment and techniques
- Analyze data collected from surveys to create accurate maps and reports
- Identify property boundaries and other physical features on the land
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide accurate information
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in the field
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a land surveyor
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred)
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to land surveying (preferred)
Salary: $1700 per month
Location: Malindi, Egypt (no English required)
