Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Porto. Your role will involve conducting site visits and assessments, developing preservation plans, and overseeing the restoration process. You will collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that preservation projects are completed successfully.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Extensive knowledge of historical building materials and techniques
- Experience in conducting site surveys and producing preservation reports
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to evaluate the condition of historical buildings
- Create detailed preservation plans based on research and assessments
- Coordinate with other professionals to ensure that preservation projects are completed within budget and timeframe
- Oversee restoration work to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and expenses
- Collaborate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for restoration work

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this full-time position. Additional benefits such as health insurance may also be provided.
