Back-End Developer



We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Alta, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end of our web applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers and designers to ensure seamless integration of the front and back-end systems. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the back-end of our web applications
- Write efficient code that meets project requirements
- Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to ensure seamless integration
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred:
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform

This is an ideal opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience in back-end development. The position does not include accommodation, so we prefer applicants who are already located in Alta. However, we are open to considering applicants from other areas who are willing to relocate at their own expense.
