Glazier - Urgent Contract Position in Ufa, Russia

A reputable construction company in Ufa, Russia is seeking an experienced Glazier for an urgent contract position. This is a great opportunity for an Indian national looking for work abroad. The Glazier will be responsible for cutting, installing, and repairing glass and other materials on various construction projects. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of experience as a Glazier and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass according to specifications
- Install glass panels, windows, and doors in buildings
- Repair or replace damaged glass
- Create templates and take accurate measurements
- Use tools such as drills, saws, and grinders to shape glass
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Communicate with other tradespeople on the job site

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Glazier
- Proficient in measuring, cutting, and installing glass
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical plans
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Willingness to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding
- Good communication skills in English (basic knowledge of Russian is a plus)

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
