Location: Nakuru, Kenya


We are a transportation company seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team in Nakuru. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations. This is a contract position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods and materials onto the truck
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery
- Conduct regular inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage, and any incidents that may occur during transport
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, load securement, and paperwork

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with good driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor if needed
- Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Kenya

Preferred:
- Experience driving trucks in urban areas
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Mechanical knowledge for basic truck maintenance
