Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist

As a Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert dietary and nutritional advice to clients in the city of Khasab, with a focus on Kenyans. Your main goal will be to assist clients in achieving their health and wellness goals through personalized meal plans and dietary recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial assessments of clients' dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle to determine their nutritional needs
- Developing personalized meal plans based on the client's goals, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences
- Educating clients on the importance of nutrition and the impact it has on overall health and well-being
- Monitoring clients' progress and making necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Providing ongoing support, guidance, and motivation to help clients stay on track with their nutrition goals
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care for clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics or a related field
- Proven experience as a Dietitian or Nutritionist (preferably working with Kenyan clients)
- Excellent knowledge of nutritional principles, food science, and dietary requirements for different populations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
- Ability to develop personalized meal plans that are realistic, practical, and culturally appropriate
- Understanding of different cultural dietary practices and willingness to adapt recommendations accordingly
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Valid work permit or willingness to obtain one

Salary: 1100$ per month
