Formwork Technician

As a Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing temporary structures used to support concrete during construction. You will use a variety of materials, such as wood, metal, and plastic, to create molds and forms that will hold the concrete in place until it hardens. This position requires a high level of physical strength and stamina, as well as precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Assemble formwork using hand and power tools
- Install reinforcement bars and braces as needed
- Pour and spread concrete into formwork
- Smooth and finish concrete surfaces
- Remove formwork after concrete has set
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in formworking or carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic math skills for measurements
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Remish, Canada (Preference for Canadian citizens or those with valid work permits)

Employment Type: Contract (with possibility for extension)
