JAVA Developer


As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing complex software applications using JAVA programming language. You will work closely with the development team to understand business requirements and create efficient solutions. Your role will also involve debugging and troubleshooting issues in existing applications. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and experience with popular JAVA frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts. This position is located in Funchal, Portugal and offers a salary of $1400 per month without accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and test software applications using JAVA
- Collaborate with the development team to understand business requirements
- Develop efficient solutions that meet technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
- Ensure all code meets quality standards
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of JAVA development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a JAVA Developer
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with popular JAVA frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts
- Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST) and related technologies (XML/JSON)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on large-scale projects
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with database management systems (MySQL/Oracle)
