Formwork Engineer

As a Formwork Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining formwork structures used in concrete pouring. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that the formwork meets safety standards and project requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge of construction materials and methods.

Responsibilities:
- Design and plan formwork structures based on project requirements
- Calculate load capacities and select appropriate materials for the formwork
- Oversee the installation and removal of formwork during concrete pouring
- Conduct inspections to ensure formwork is properly installed and meets safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to resolve any issues or changes in design
- Maintain accurate records of formwork usage and costs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Formworker or Formwork Engineer
- Strong understanding of construction materials and methods for formwork structures
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
