Biometric Librarian


We are in search of a Biometric Librarian to join our team in Braga. As a Biometric Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's biometric system and ensuring the security and privacy of patron's personal information. This is an urgent job position that requires a candidate with experience in handling biometric passports.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the library's biometric system
- Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues with the system
- Train staff on how to use the biometric system effectively
- Ensure the security and privacy of patron's personal information through proper handling of biometric data
- Keep updated records of all biometric data and adhere to data protection policies
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth integration of the biometric system into library operations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with biometric passports
- Familiarity with data protection policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at $1600 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
