Carpenter - Al-Rayyan, Egypt


We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Egypt. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing building frameworks and structures such as stairways, door frames, partitions, and rafters. This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$, suitable for men who are proficient in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and materials required
- Cut, shape and join materials (e.g. wood, drywall, fiberglass) using hand and power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim
- Measure accurately and mark cutting lines on materials
- Inspect work progress to ensure conformity to specifications
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures
- Maintain a safe work environment by following company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Proficient in using carpentry tools (e.g. saws, hammers, drills)
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
- Attention to detail with good measuring skills
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures while working with dangerous equipment
- Own visa for Egypt is preferred but not required
